1. Missing Fonts or Fonts Not Matching
Issue: Sometimes fonts used in Figma are not recognized or matched exactly when importing into Linearity Curve or Move. Missing fonts will be replaced automatically with Helvetica.
Workaround: Ensure the fonts used in your Figma design are installed locally on your device. This will help the plugin recognize and use the correct fonts in Curve or Move.
2. Using the Plugin on iOS Devices
Issue: Figma support on iOS is limited.
Workaround: To import from Figma on iOS, use the browser. The native Figma app on iOS does not support editing or plugins. Log in to Figma through your browser and use it as you would on a desktop. This allows you to access the full functionality of Figma, including using the Linearity plugin.
3. Importing Takes Too Long or Plugin isn't responsive
Issue: Importing may take longer than expected, especially with heavy images, causing the plugin to appear unresponsive.
Workaround:
- Please wait for a few seconds; most imports complete within a few seconds.
- If the problem persists, try importing your design in smaller steps.
- Optimize images before import to reduce load times.
4. Effects and Other Properties Like Corner Radius
Issue: Effects such as blur or drop shadows, and properties like corner radius, might not be imported directly from Figma. Workaround: Although this is the case, most effects can be achieved within Curve and Move. Simply apply them after importing using the tools available in these applications. Both Curve and Move support these effects and can replicate them post-import.
5. Single-Line Text
Issue: When importing multi-lined text, it is imported as multiple single lines.
Workaround: This is a known limitation. While the text remains fully editable, we recommend grouping the text elements after importing to better manage them in Curve or Move.
6. Layers Naming Differences
Issue: Layers may have different names in Linearity Curve or Move compared to Figma.
Workaround: Although this is a known issue, if this is a problem for you, you can easily navigate and rename layers in Curve and Move using the layers panel.
7. Image as Fill
Issue: Linearity Curve and Move do not support images as fill; images are added as masks instead.
Workaround: You can easily switch images in the layers panel to manage masks. In Curve, simply drag and drop to replace an image quickly. This method allows you to adjust and manage your images effortlessly after importing.
We're already fixing these limitations but your feedback is very important to helps us improve. If you find any other issues or need further assistance, please reach out to our support team.

Troubleshooting
While working on your file, a degree of blurring is expected while navigating the canvas, zooming in/out or moving objects around but it should not appear in the final export unless blur settings have been applied.
If exporting to JPEG format, quality can be manually increased during the exporting process or alternatively, if exporting to a different format, such as PNG, we recommend increasing the resolution while exportingWe also advise that, depending on the screen being used, quality may appear lower than it truly is. If you would like to see the absolute resolution, simply right click on the file and select Get Info.
It is currently not possible to set custom DPI within Linearity Curve. Non-vector elements get exported with the default value 72 DPI.
However, if exporting to PNG or JPEG it is possible to adjust Resolution and, in the case of JPEG, adjust image Quality also.
There are no file backup options available within Linearity Curve, however, all files are saved within the application automatically and can be accessed at any time.
Illustration Mode is only available for devices operating with an A12 processor and newer M1 MacBooks or higher.
This restriction is in place due to the high processing power and technological demands that Illustration Mode presents.
We don’t currently have any plans to release an Android or Windows version of Vectornator.

The Timelapse feature in Vectornator has some limitations as:
- After 10,000 actions, the Undo history will be cleared out and you won't be able to export the video too.
- When the Undo history reaches 25 MB on iPhone, 45 MB on iPad and 140 MB on macOS, the video can no longer be exported. (Please consider that these are approx values, it depends on the actions you take, e.g. you paste some heavy file as an image into the artboard)
- You have the Optimized Mode enabled, which does not allow to save undo history once you exit the session.
Crash reports help us to better understand and identify the issues that occur while using Linearity Curve.

If files were successfully migrated from Vectornator to Linearity Curve and Linearity Curve was deleted then these files will be accessible from the account for a period of time.
If Linearity Curve was updated and deleted again during the file migration process then local files that were not yet migrated will not be recoverable. However, any remaining iCloud files will be accessible until imported to your Linearity Curve application.
All Linearity Curve files can be accessed directly within the Linearity Curve application. Files are not stored locally within your device.
Linearity Cloud
Yes, there is a potential risk. We strongly recommend against uninstalling Linearity Curve before your migration has been fully completed.
Uninstalling the application may trigger MacOS, iPadOS, or iOS to automatically remove all locally stored files upon deletion.
Additionally, if you log out, reset your device, or delete your account, there is a possibility that any files not yet synced may be permanently lost.
At the moment, file deletion in Linearity Cloud is permanent. However, we're actively working on addressing this limitation to offer more flexible options in the future.
In the case of file deletions within the "On my Device" and "iCloud" spaces, you can conveniently recover deleted files from your "Recently deleted" section within the Files app or the macOS Bin.
Any files you want to access across devices should be migrated to Linearity Cloud. Once there, they become synchronized and are accessible from any device with Linearity Curve installed.
Migrating is easy: just open and edit your files in Linearity Curve to move them from your iPad or Mac storage. Additionally, importing files from Finder, iCloud, or the Files app will automatically store and sync them to Linearity Cloud.
No, your Forum account is not linked to your Linearity account.
Your files remain secure in their original places, whether it's iCloud or your device storage. We won't delete any data without your permission. However, if you prefer having a backup for peace of mind, you can export all your files in .curve format and save them locally.
Any new document you create will be automatically saved in Linearity Cloud as a .curve file, and you can easily export and store it wherever you choose.
After upgrading your software and signing in to your account, you can choose to migrate all your files at once using the “Migrate Now” button. This option enables you to migrate all your files in one swift move.
Alternatively, you can migrate files one at a time by opening and editing them. Any changes you make will automatically save to Linearity Cloud. Plus, any new documents created will be added there, too.
Once all your files are migrated, you’ll be prompted to delete them from their original locations. The iCloud and local storage spaces will then be removed from the Homescreen.
Yes. Linearity Cloud provides the flexibility to create, edit, duplicate, delete, and rename files without an internet connection.
